Baby news!  We had a lovely palomino filly born on May 13th.  She is correct, lively and lovely.  Peach, as we call her right now, is a daughter of Holiday Compdare and Suntime Brass Buttons.  This is Buttons first foal and she is proving to be a wonderful mother; we were a little worried because was orphaned at birth and was raised by a "people mother" here.  We are pondering just the right name for Peach; Dr. Nick has suggested Legally Blond.  Since he pays the bills, his suggestions matter!

We do our homework before we breed; we look at the individual mare both in terms of conformation and disposition, her foals, the stallions and the pedigrees. Once a mare is in foal, the long wait begins. We are with our mares when they foal; it is such a marvelous time. The young horses are handled from birth and demonstrate the typical people oriented Morgan attitude. They receive optimum preventative veterinary care and as well as regular trimming. Most of our young horses are started here at home; we let them tell us what their special career should be. We pride ourselves on finding the right situation and home for our horses.
